Ben vs. Courtney: Who’s to blame for the failed engagement?
Immediately after the final episode of The Bachelor concluded with Ben Flajnik proposing to Courtney, America was stunned again with the news that they had broken off the engagement. Ben came on first, saying right off the bat to host Chris Harrison, “I’m still in love with this woman,” but added,”It’s been a rough ride.”He admits they broke off the engagement. “It became too much; I just cracked.” Ben said the break lasted for a “few weeks” as he had to take a step back and “reassess.” Courtney appeared to be visually shaken and upset by the whole situation.
